As an inline sensor for larger bioreactors, fermenters, and yeast starters

The Pioreactor can be used as an inline sensor for larger bioreactors, fermenters, and yeast starters too. All that's required is our inline sensor insert, and a single peristaltic pump with female luer lock ends. The pump will flow media through the Pioreactor continuously, and our sensors and software will report back to the user-interface. In this set-up, the same measurements can be made (cell density, fluorescence, etc.) as in the usual bioreactor set-up.

It's recommend to place the ordering of flow bioreactor → peristaltic pump → Pioreactor → bioreactor (i.e. the pump pushes liquid into the Pioreactor, and not pulls liquid out).
